Since 1983, Kern Ltd has been delivering technological
innovation and customer driven service to clients across the
UK. Here are some key moments:
2003: Has seen further investment into partnership
and distribution agreements with companies including Agissar,
Acson and Axode as well as the launch of the NP Omega. There
has also been consistent development of customer driven service
and
support
systems, and
the rapid
broadening of the complete Kern portfolio to meet the increasingly
varied needs of tomorrow’s mailroom.
2002: Saw Kern making significant investment
in the Marketing EXPO in London (formerly the International Direct
Mail Fair) in March, as well as exhibiting as a major Xerox partner
at IPEX in Birmingham in April. The high speed unique design
K3500 was launched as a prototype, and in the follow up show,
IDMF at Earls Court, London in March 2003, it was the focal point
of the exhibition.
2001: Distribution agreements signed by Kern
Ltd with National Presort Inc, and ID Mail Systems. After months
of product development Kern launched its five-product evolutionary
software brand, Orchestra. Sales and business development saw
record expansion. Kern’s unique service product was further
developed through a nationwide support team structure, and backed
by a 24x7x365 support offer that includes parts as well as personnel.
2000: Kern reformed and enhanced its User Group;
this has since continued togrow with regular newsletters and
conferences nationwide.
1999: The company earns ISO certification and
was awarded a single source maintenance contract and preferred
supplier status with a major client that included an
order for seven K2500 systems.
1998: Kern Ltd moved to 22000ft² new premises
at Fareham on the South Coast.
1996-1998: The K2500 enjoys considerable success
with a number of major key accounts wins.
1996: Kern Ltd establishes a stronger UK presence
and continues its tradition of industry leadership by introducing
project management into systems, installation guarantees and
30-day goals for meeting SLA requirements.
1984-1995: The company continued to grow with
support from the Kern Group.
1983: Kern Ltd established to deliver a wide
portfolio of products backed by exemplary service to the UK
market.
