Kern delivers Hugo Beck's machines which insert machines ready for the assembly of very diverse types of magazines and catalogues with included and/or inserted supplements in the capacity range of 8,000 to 18,000 cycles/hour. Selective feeding and labeling are equally part of the scope of delivery as well as the assembly of stacks.

All inserting machines from Hugo Beck via Kern can be operated very simply with the co-pilot function. They pack various printed materials both online and offline. In the on-line mode a takeover with servo process scheduling is possible.

As one of the first manufacturers worldwide Hugo Beck was able to introduce inserting machines with Safety-SPS at the "Drupa 2008". Then this machine type has been equipped with it in series. These are now proudly presented and available from Kern.

The motion control function enables a high availability of the machines. The analog movement of the transverse welding unit provides a high precision in the production process. The inserting machines can optionally also be steered over a radio remote control and through a modem for remote maintenance. Moreover, fine adjustments are possible while the machine is in operation.
