The Kern 3500 is constructed using well-established and proven Kern components. In order to adapt to the widest variety of mailroom environments, the system’s speed is continuously variable. When a job is started, the processing speed is automatically adapted to the application being run. When set at the maximum speed setting, it is capable of handling up to 22,000 envelopes per hour.

Kern 3500 Dual Channel Module

With the new side-connecting, VSK dual-channel module; the Kern 3500 Inserting System can now be configured for dual channel operation, making it a performance leader in the processing of dual entry applications as well.
 
The Side Channel Connecting Module supports the full functionality of the input modules and enables optimized communication throughout the system. The module is designed to sustain the inserting system’s maximum output of 22,000 filled envelopes per hour.
 
Maintaining the high standards set for all Kern’s equipment, the VSK Dual-Channel Connecting Module facilitates the efficient handling of printed documents by the operator and makes application change-overs easy.
