The Acson range of pressure sealers comprises products for both ends of the one-piece mail market, from high-performance high-volume systems to compact desktop models for low and medium applications, all of which fit well into the range of mailroom solutions available through Kern.
The Acson C2500 modular burster-folder-sealer is used for continuous forms processing. A wide variety of folds including ‘Z’ ‘C’ or ‘V’ are possible without additional devices. The modularity of the C2500 allows the addition of a long outfeed conveyor for increased productivity, and many further options including OMR systems, total and batch counters, identification and sorting module. The continuous document system can be as C2500 for 12” burster/folder or C3000 for 14” burster/folder.
The C9500 high volume burster-folder/sealer allows the separation, fold and pressure seal of advantageous pre-glued mailing documents in a single operation. Fanfold or from a roll. Continuous forms up to 18” wide and 18” long can double production speed using a central slitter. One piece mailers are sealed using high pressure reactive glue. Further features include document flow tracking, two or four-fold plate versions, adjustment for two or three-up documents, with optional OCR or barcode-driven validation systems.
The Acson F3000 is designed for large volumes, combining high volume and high performance power in a small footprint. Features include a high capacity feeder for cut sheet forms up to 14” long, provision for continuous and productive top-load sheet feeding, two sturdy fold plates, a four roller pressure sealer, pressure release wheel for quick settings, comprehensive cycle control, and a standard built in output conveyor.
The F3000 has a fixed production speed of 18,000 forms per hour. The system can be equipped with the ISM (Intelligent sorting module) for camera reading & validation applications, a perfect solution where security is paramount.
The Acson F9600 allows folding and sealing in a single operation, with a 65cm deep pile feeder for long runs and higher productivity. Document infeed width of 450mm allows production to be doubled using a central slitter. Designed for heavy duty work the F9600 is ideal for large volumes of all types of mailer and fold designs. Additional advantages include six roller pressure sealing, adjustment for one, two, or three-up documents, and full micro-processor control.
