Hugo Beck has laced an exclusive product package for the entry into the realm of packaging with fully automatic machines. With the form fill and seal machine flexo and the shrink tunnel SLB 5012/25-e in many lines of business a broad range of applications can be covered very economically.

The form fill and seal machine flexo offers not only solid and flexible basic equipment but it also contains almost all features of the larger models.

The form fill and seal machine flexo packs up to 5,000 products per hour, which are between 25 - 450 mm wide, 2 - 200 mm high and at least 80 mm (optionally 45 mm) long. The flexo stands out through its good accessibility. It is controlled through Siemens SPS technology via touch screen. An integrated database for storing the settings, makes the operation of the machine very simple. Frequency converters are available at all conveyor belts and reversing delivery belts . In order to prevent the products from shrink in the side sealing, they are monitored by a photocell. Food-safe belts are installed standardly. With a breadth of only 1400 mm the flexo is one of the smallest and most space-saving automatic machines worldwide.

Efficient and low-consumption film packaging

PO- and PE films can be used without rearrangement. The machine is equipped with a film mandrel to enable a clean unwinding. Static and film roll ends therefore do not cause any problems. The flexo optionally also works with a film on 2 rolls without a mandrel.

The side sealing is performed by a constantly heated welding knife and a patented film transport system which always provides a closed seam. The film packaging machine is deliverable with a left or right operating side. The welding units are constantly heated and maintenance-free. The product acquisition is performed by 2 photocells; Rupture control at the scrap film winding and a final check at the film unwinding are standard features. The format can be altered extremely simply through the hand wheels and measure scales. A common elevation adjustment of the transverse welding unit, forming shoulder and side sealing saves valuable time. The side welded seam is always located at half 
the height of the product. In addition, the flexo is standardly equipped with porcupine rolls for perforating the films.

The shrink tunnel SLB 5012/25-e: Powerful, flexible and energy-saving

The standard equipment of the shrink tunnel SLB 5012/25-e is identical with the high-end machines. A switchable rotating rod enables the processing of PO or PE films. The shrink tunnel SLB 5012/25-e operates in energy-saving way and is simple to use. The tunnel rods can alternatively be equipped with a Teflon coating, with PTFE-rods, a gridded tape or an apron conveyor.
